     @jimmybuffettfanaccount @monsterislandcolonizer if it was told from the males perspective this would be avoided, but the author specifically starts the story with the woman fighting for her own people and then gets captured. Now she is being seduced by what has been framed as an enemy foreigner. She would be betraying her own people by accepting. She even meets one of her previous subordinates who has birthed children who will grow up to fight and kill their own people. That doesn't seem very wholesome chungus to me
