   Stiv Bators inadvertently predicting what was to become of the Call of Duty franchise in service to military propaganda here. Joking aside, this was about Cold War propaganda and posturing being used as a smokescreen for class war, and, well. They weren't wrong.

     in the 1980s, Stiv Bators out of the The Dead Boys and The Lords of the New Church was a Magister in the Ordo Templi Orientis

     So why the fuck does every cunt I meet from the OTO these days seem to be a Tory?

     Like, fine, I'm not a Thelemite, and practitioners are not obliged to disclose our societal memberships to one another just out of a sense of professional camaraderie, but my dudes, the state of your public image these days.

     I do wonder how much of his membership was in the service of that very obvious pun, though.

     (I was informed by his contemporaries that he was actually reasonably committed in his practice. But. You know.)

     @HauntedOwlbear from my experience in the occult and pagan world here in the states, I found the vast majority of OTO folks to be a lot of very entitled faux intellectual white men... so it kind of checks out.
