     @professionalbigot69 on the positive side, when some hacker decides to go all crowdstrike on their tvs, "automatic update of software on your devices" will become dramatically less popular

     @jimmybuffettfanaccount I guess the only solution to this is allowing you to run your own software on the stuff, which is annoying, but then there is little incentive for it to be misused, but people who steal tvs it makes sense that samsung could say "yeah you aren't allowed to use our software"
