     @icedquinn I use irc daily to lurk in various channels. Specific channels one regarding computer security, one electronics and other various channels just to read tidbits about conversations. It’s very stimulating reading conversations on good ol irc

     @neo i think the server needs to include a web port that has a gui similar to this https://gitlab.com/jam-systems/jam
     
     the android and ios clients are piss and the desktop client looks like it was made in the 60s. even though people keep occasionally looking for alternatives, nobody is taking the user complaints seriously (so big tech, who does bother to hire designers to make things pretty, keeps just getting the users right back)

     @icedquinn@blob.cat I would argue that mumble looks like it was made in 2004 and then the GUI was never touched again.
