   @arcana @meso @teratology @ageha people have gotten mail order estrogen that was not made in safe conditions like they could see foreign particulate in the needles. this is potentially like how recreational drugs being illegal means it can't be regulated and safe but of course you still have the issue of adults selling drugs to kids. or you can go full libertarian I guess but I don't see most people of gender doing that. There is probably no universe where selling unregulated hormones to people is a good idea, if it has to happen then it should be treated as a very narrow exception because a kid might kill themself if they can't shoot up girl drugs.

     @sun @arcana @meso @teratology @ageha All drugs should be descheduled and the FDA should be disbanded and replaced with something like Underwriter Labs that rates the quality and effectiveness of different drugs rather than just preventing stuff from coming to market

     It is insane how people don't think of scenarios like this and go, "wow this child needs mental health treatment and support" and instead indulge them in choices they are not qualified to make for themselves.

     And then we get people shitting on detransitioners who tell the world they were pushed into making choices they regret.
