   In fairness, Trump only really exposes how horrible about 20ish% of the population of the US is (and only about 30ish% of eligible voters, if you'd like to be more pessimistic, though hang on, I'll get there). Israel is doing a decent job of bringing up those numbers though, as are a few other things I'm sure you could name. I'm not sure what the actual percentage of the population that's horrible is, but I suspect it trends to unity as one increases one's standards to even a fairly low level. I'll throw my own hat into the ring of people who should be eaten by aliens, frankly.

     Trump offered us the opportunity to observe that fully half of the united states is a bunch of knuckle dragging dickheads.

     Now, I'm not sure what constructive thing one can do with that information other than wishing for half of the populace of the united states to be sucked into a passing alien mothership and hauled off to another planet as a food source.
