   this reminded me of this nice libreoffice feature: embedding the .odt in the .pdf if requested, so you distribute the source code along with the object code

     distributing a pdf is like distributing a binary, cringe if you don't make the source available, and if “the source” is “an object file” (.docx) then you didn't distribute the source.
