     With the BRICS and waning US hegemony, its hard to see the normalization of US Cuban relations and the end to the embargo as having any significant meaning for Cuba at all. Maybe 20 years ago, but as they say the boat has sailed.
     
     As a BRICS member Cuba will have affordable electric cars, high speed 5g and renewable energy independence. They already received access to effective and affordable covid vaccines free to the masses. As a BRICS member they will also be partnered with a world leader in technology.
     
     Resuming relations with the united states? I guess start with closing Guantanamo bay. There isnt a whole lot of objective benefit to rejoining a coalition with a nation that routinely runs out of money to fund its government, leads the world in covid deaths and can't feed its school children.
