I’ve seen plenty of stories about dealing with people who have dementia, and all the symptoms associated with it like forgetfulness, delusions, and prolonged violent outbursts. But it’s something else to deal with it personally, especially when it’s with your own mother. It’s horrible stuff, but I know that the only way out of this is through it.
