   @musicman Depends on organization culture. I n $AGENCY, the bozos in HQ sent out invitations for tons of meetings, but if you declined, you were not supporting the mission. I started just not answering, then deleting the event from my calendar without notifying the sender.

     Why accept a call you don't plan to attend?

     If your plans change, just hit the "Decline" button so people know you aren't planning to attend.
