   @lunarloony I can think of only one film that pulls it off in a convincing manner and yet is absolutely mysterious about the mechanism. it was a little indie film called Primer by shane carruth

     Are there any shows / films / other fiction about time travel that actually make sense?
     Whenever I come across time travel, it's either doing mental gymnastics with itself to explain how everything works (e.g. Doctor Who and "the rules"), or it just doesn't bother and nothing has any consequence (e.g. Crash Bandicoot 3).
