@Zergling_man 25.4mm is slightly too big for semi-accurate eyeballing, meanwhile you can eyeball 20mm or 10mm or 5mm easily.
Squaring a distance measures distance, except in 2D instead of 1D

The best burger cope about their measurement I've ever seen was the time some guy was legitimately arguing that imperial was better "because you can eyeball it".
Also acre isn't actually a measurement of distance 👀
