   @mdhughes I felt that Franklin was a dullard that was worshipped as a genius, maybe just because Fleck's sleepy old mom liked him or because there was nobody that could compare to him on TV, he was super famous for being famous.

   I felt a lot like that about Letterman back when he was on, but maybe I just didn't understand US TV at the time.

     @clacke Yeah, I disagree. Neither Seth Meyer nor Steven Colbert is very funny. They never have been.
