@RickiTarr I grew up in a hunting/foraging/gardening family. I still garden and forage, but no longer have the strength/stamina to do it all the time. I'm grateful I was brought up that way, though. I feel a connection to the land and nature which I rarely see in folks who grew up differently.

I see people saying Agriculture destroyed the world all the time, as if this one component is the singular issue. Are there issues with it, certainly, I agree with that, but there's this idea that if we go back to some kind of Hunter Gatherer Society we will all be happier and healthier, when in reality we would most likely just be dead. I don't know, maybe you want to go trekking in the woods any time you get hungry, but I like making a sandwich. The reality is everything is much much more complex than we think. Simple blanket statements don't solve real problems. I mean, other than Tax the Rich.
