@wyatt8740@tech.lgbt @ada@zoner.work It was an issue with Pop’s packaging not even Debian, and iirc it removed nvidia drivers & Xorg

@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social @wyatt8740@tech.lgbt @ada@zoner.work Personally I don't understand the point of PopOS at all. What does it do except being an Ubuntu reskin with even more bugs? I'll stick with Debian.

@wyatt8740@tech.lgbt @ada@zoner.work either way even if he properly hosed it the system was recoverable (worst case do debootstrap to get the system back to a sane configuration)

@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social @wyatt8740@tech.lgbt @ada@zoner.work Last time I saw a computer running PopOS it was still following the same versioning scheme as Ubuntu which made me assume it just copied the Ubuntu repos for the most part?

@SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo @wyatt8740@tech.lgbt @ada@zoner.work They do some stuff, also they maintain their own repositories and packaging independent of Ubuntu’s packages
