I wanna know what happened between y'all
When I got a craving for fedi a while back (while I still thought FSE was offline), I joined NCD because I vaguely remembered it, and the three other instances I remembered (including ones where you had alts) werent accepting new signups
Turns out I forgot NCD is fulla wignats, so I left. Still, curious to know what happened :acelevy:

Oh, nothing, really. He's just kind of an idiot and has been a persistent pain in the ass. Basically this is the issue:

Other than that, not much to tell. The guy's not a fan of freedom of speech and he serves white wine to middle-aged women at a ski resort. Kind of a dumb story, but here it is:
So they were already kind of annoying, the worst kind of Gablins, and then I'd post something, I'm talkin' about computers or whatever, and one of them would hop in and just say "retard" or "faggot" and then if one of them noticed you, eight other ones would pop in. The Nice Crew Dot Djiddle trademark is the reply chain with just a single randomly selected gamer word. So I had taken to preemptively blocking them, and then the Gleasonware blockbot showed up and I did what I always do when that happens: I just started blocking/reblocking in bulk, realized that I could just do the CSV upload, so whenever one of them annoyed me, I'd click the button again, it would block everyone on the server again, and their blockbot posted in public and tagged both accounts, so they'd start lagging every time I clicked the button. Instead of disabling the spambot, they blocked my account for evil hacker, and the timeline improved immediately. I was elated, decided this was Good End. Then at some point they decided to unblock me; I don't know why. So I told matty to put the block back, and set the Strangelove bot to any of them that annoyed me, he accused me of hacking the gibson and put the block back. He replied to me a few times when I was on SPC, I told him I preferred being on an instance where my account was blocked, he sent me a sad face. So I get back here and wasn't blocked and asked him politely, then asked him impolitely and said I'd put the bot to him, then after about a month, I turned the Strangelove bot back on, he acts like it's a massive unprovoked attack--a bot that does nothing unless I receive unwanted replies, so even if it were unprovoked, the bot only responds to provocations. I started replacing media: every request from their server to FSE for images was replaced with the gif advertising CP at NCD. So he (allegedly; my phone was off) tried to call me, posted about how he was going to "escalate", so I posted his face and city, and he blocked the entire server before I could post the "entire staff is vaccinated" Yelp screenshot. I never got to find out what "escalation" he was threatening.
