  It’s been a real bummer this past week to watch WordPress (and Matt Mullenweg) so completely and publicly implode. This was a guy who, from my pov, hadn’t put a foot wrong for 20 years building and protecting the open Internet. I know he thinks he’s still doing that, but whatever his ends might be, the means are painful to watch.
