President #Biden released $6B in frozen #Iranian funds that had been held by #SouthKorea (payment for previous #oil deliveries)—as part of a deal to win the freedom of 5 American detainees—but that money has NOT been received by #Iran. The money was transferred to #Qatar in Sept 2023 & was to be paid to #HUMANITARIAN providers. After the #Hamas attack in #Israel last Oct, the admin said it had prevented Iran from tapping the money.
