somehow Walz made the standard conservatard line of "lets persuade each other" look fucking fantastic.

I wonder if they did this on purpose to troll Walz.

@sickburnbro Walz's point didn't seem applicable, to an awkward degree. Was the whole debate like that (Walz trying to line up memorized gotchyas with the topic at hand)?
Vance: "We should reject censorship"
Walz: "But monkeys are always trying to steal my snow cones!"

@EvilSandmich it is applicable, but it's not obvious. Not letting people yell fire in a theater is saying "this isn't protected speech" , and thus is censorship.

Still not applicable, Vance is talking in context of a debate. If what Walz said was applied, Walz would be arrested for loudly saying the word "fire" in the debate.

@That-Mushroom @sickburnbro I would have to watch more of the debate but know the full context, which I will not do, but yeah Vance is talking about political speech and Waltz immediately goes into a false non-sequitur ("No we can't debate pouring Haitian invaders into your state because that's like yelling fire in a movie theater"???)
