Philip Cardella (philip_cardella@historians.social)'s status on Monday, 30-Sep-2024 22:12:22 JST Philip Cardella @StillIRise1963 @WarnerCrocker there's a book called the Big Ones about natural and unnatural disasters that makes the argument that humans evolved to put bad things in the past and essentially forget about them because otherwise we'd fail to reproduce, thrive and eventually exist.
It makes some sense to me. But like many things we evolved this may be one we need to learn to evolve past especially as increasingly our species is creating the disasters that befall us.
