   @multiverseofbadness is that a thing I should be doing? I’m not knowingly giving them any money. I pay a UK based company for managed Wordpress hosting.

   I haven’t touched the site in months.

     @multiverseofbadness that does not seem a clear cut reason to cancel.

     I’m wary of “the wisdom of the internet” for a few reasons. Also, practically every company is evil. I suspect a lot of people decrying Wordpress have eaten something made by Nestle in the past week.

     It’s past midnight here and I’m tired. Will evaluate in the morning.

     It's becoming a little exhausting trying to keep up with what is and is not evil.

     I mean... I use Windows and I buy Apple phones. In some people's eyes that's enough to write me off as an immoral spawn of Satan.

     I was already trying to figure out #11ty to migrate away from WordPress.

     Mainly because I'm cheap and managed WordPress hosting is costing me something like £72/year.
