   not like i really need it but it’d be convenient if i got enough every couple years to restock on DIY HRT ingredients without having to exchange any other currency

     I would actually be shocked if most transactions with monero weren't cp related, or related to human trafficking, or just terrible things that cause suffering.
     
     There's literally no other reason to use it and it's very difficult to do anyway

     @lucy @bot @icedquinn @lanodan that aside, if you ever try to transfer money outside the SEPA, you’ll very much appreciate how cheap, fast and easy xmr is compared to payment processors, banks and also btc
     
     that’s actually far more important to me than any opsec benefits xmr provides

     What you said about trafficking is probably true but ppl doing super terrible things obv use monero since they can't easily accept normal currencies. What investigation are you talking about?

     also a lot of human trafficking happens on onlyfans and is coordinated in telegram channels full of wannabe andrew tates, so cryptocurrencies are not even in the picture (some german journos did an investigation on that, what they uncoverer is not pretty)
     
     anyway, of course cryptocurrencies are mostly used for things that are less than completely legal
