When talking about 'American Freedom' maybe it's also an idea to talk about all the ingredients that are LEGAL in the US but ILLEGAL in most of the world because it's basically poison
It's insane how much difference there is in ingredients between the US and Europe, and this is not a positive thing for the US
"Freedom" also means companies taking advantage left and right. And it's impossible to keep track of it all these days, that's why we have rules and laws on such things

@stux @chris It's largely the difference as I understand it between social liberalism and economic liberalism.
Economic liberalism is generally the idea that nobody should be limited by the government, and therefore the rich can do whatever they like.
Social liberalism is the idea that everyone should have a good level of freedom, and sometimes the government might need to step in to lift some people up or stop others getting too powerful.

@chris totally! Most laws are there for a reason, freedom isn’t always great and has many downsides
