     @yockeypuck the thing to think about is that we've made murder legal. Because we have dehumanized babies, we now have a lot of people who have some responsibility in murders.
     
     Imagine for instance you made murdering Romas legal - such that the burdern of proof of self-defense was basically 0. And then left it that way for 50 years. There could be a lot of people who would feel very bad if all of a sudden society said "actually that was straight up murder"

     This in no way affects whether or not it is important to make murder illegal, just whether making murder illegal is sufficient.

     @yockeypuck for sure. this is also why I talk about how to handle people that were say, nurses and involved in giving people COVID shots.
     
     The goal is to admit wrongs, and show public penance. The latter is CRITICAL.
