@Gran3Walder For profit prison model is so exploitable and wrought with moral hazards it's unreal. Libtards used to care about it, but now they use it as a political tool and rarely mention it unless doing so can promote one of their dumb ideas

@BowsacNoodle @Gran3Walder I doubt there ever stopped being slavery and caste systems in the world. It's all still around today. It just has better PR now than it used to.

If you build a sweatshop in Elbonia where people can suddenly earn a week's wages in one day, but they're severely underpaid on the global scale, it's as much a boon to them as it is to you. At the same time, that logic is used to pay remote technical workers less if they live in rural areas despite them having the same skillset as urban area workers, which I find awful.

@BowsacNoodle @Lex_Luthor @Gran3Walder Our company used the logic that because factory in X town makes 19 dollars an hour, you shouldn't be asking for a raise because you already make 21 dollars an hour.
>Oh gawd you're already the highest paid in the state (with in this particular company)
Never mind that people who work directly for Ford doing the same job make close to 30 on avg.
