Huh. yt-dlp still works for me right now, but I'm also never signed into my personal Google account (haven't for ~3 years). I did get the bot/signin error back when I was pulling a lot of metadata at once for this article:
but I just had to wait a while and it never seemed to ban my IP address permanently. Oddly enough I cannot watch videos via their WebApp. A video will play fro 1 minute and then freeze on both Librewolf (personally machine) and my work machine (signed into a corporate GSuite account on Firefox). Both run uBlock so I suspect that's why. So I can only watch YouBoob videos via FreeTube, yt-dlp (or mpv which just uses yt-dlp)
