   @deprecated_ii the genie is out of the bottle and can't be put back. Remote work has been proven and talent will forever have leverage. Medium size companies can get top talent at discount by allowing remote. Talent can afford not getting the Bay Area salaries by not getting Bay Area expenses.
   
   Fun fact, big companies had already "proven" it by remoting a huge amount of jobs to India. They just don't want you taking advantage of it.
