     @eemmaa I slipped on some ice once and managed to split my helmet in two. Only a mild concussion but I dread to think how it would be without the protection (6 years ago btw,)

     @lunarised@whinge.town I agree with this sentiment, but tbh the entire time I was a bicycle carrier I didnt wear a helmet and i was drunk 20% of the time.

     @eemmaa a non secured helmet may as well be none ;(
     
     I wear my Helmets tight and I even adjust the ear clips to make sure it fits snug <3

     @lunarised@whinge.town I had a traumatic brain injury from a bike crash when I was like 10. Was helicoptered to the hospital, they had to keep me there awhile , still have the scar on my head from it. I was wearing a helmet that time, but it split and came off on initial impact so second impact was just my head from bike to ground at high speed.
