     @romin Krita is licensed under the GPLv3-only, so it is not "open source" - it is free software.
     
     Unlike many proprietary programs, you have the freedom to install the previous version that doesn't have such bug.

     @mischievoustomato Both are free software and have similar functionality, except FLAC has a name that really drives home that it's about freedom, so I prefer FLAC.
