   At this point, the LLM shits have completely ruined the term AI, same as the shitcoin hype ruined crypto. It's time for those who do legitimate work in the field to simply move on to different terms for their research. There's no coming back from billions of dollars of marketing and tech fanboys polluting the term.

     @JessTheUnstill @calcifer Dumb Capital (DC) makes for Dumb AI (dAI). Calling it AI was a misnomer from the get go. I call the "AI" of the techbros Automated Theft (AT) but no one picked it up because after all I am a tiny doctor on social media. Any proposals for the new terms?

     There's going back to some of the older terms like machine learning, neutral nets, etc. but I've got no particular ideas for a broader overarching category term. That should probably come from people who are actually prominent in those fields anyways.
