I have been informed that many American Christians will now insist that the only people Christians are required to be loving and kind to are other Christians who share the exact same views that they do.

I asked my mom (who is still keeping her eye on Christian extremists from our old community) how these folks would interpret the parable of The Good Samaritan, which is supposed to be Jesus' answer to the question: "who is my neighbor?"My mom's response: 'I couldn't even begin to guess."
