     I checked for a local dentist and piece of shit is only open like 8AM-4PM for scheduled visits, which is fucking baffling, even if I live right next to it I would still need to take time off work to go there
     
     And then, fuck you, I do get sick once in a while and I don't want to work meanwhile, or I need to take a non-vacation day off for whatever fucking reason I wish. If I don't wanna work that day, it's fucking valid

     @Shadowman311 pretty much. Plus he's a journalist and has a podcast and web show and whatever the fuck which means he can work whenever he actually damn please outside of a normal schedule so he can go get his fucking grocery at 2PM every damn week if he wanted

     @coolboymew @Shadowman311 That's weird, I thought employers allowed for the use of sick time for necessary medical/dental appointments? At least that's mine's policy. No fucking way am I using my vacation time for a dentist appointment.

     Seriously, at least when an employer allows it then you can let them know ahead of time you'll be out so they can plan for it.

     Typically only if exceed 2 consecutive days. Like for the 3rd and all they can ask for is a return to work from your doc.
     Sick time is being cut lower by the year tho. Soon to be non existent
