     @mekkaokereke I’m a middle class middle aged white guy, the kind cops generally treat pretty well, and when a young Black man threatened me with a hammer I didn’t even consider calling the cops because I didn’t trust them to act responsibly. For a profession that can’t do their job without citizen cooperation, cops sure seem determined to minimize that cooperation.
