Despite all the spoilers floating around online, I’ve managed to get into “Baldur’s Gate 3” without knowing anything of the plot.
I didn’t know the starting point of the game was you getting abducted by mind flayers! That’s pretty sweet.
I also didn’t think you would be able to recruit most of the party from the beginning. I thought it would be like “Dragon’s Age”, where you would have to encounter them one after another. I love being able to interact with all those characters so fast.

For myself, I have somehow ended up with a party full of edgelords and my romance options tuned the same way (they are simultaneously awesome and annoying - I had no intention of doing the Astarion path but my Tav basically hate-fucked him for being smug and irritating.)
