     @nullenvk I tried that with pipewire and it kinda works but I don't understand pipewire enough to make it reliable / non-fiddly / make it do all the things i want.

     So maybe doing that with sndiod would be a better idea... it's from BSD right? So at least the code should be readable...

     I have a *very* stupid idea involving running a sndiod server on my NAS and piping all audio from all of my workstations to it.
     
     This is dumb as hell, but it'd be funny to try out
