     When JFK did his Cuban thingy I was 9.. a profound effect/moment and Ronnie got it all moving...
     as to.. who did you say...
     some ppl are best forgotten..
     learn and move on is my way ;-)))

     Hmm.. I think US is still at skool learning..
     maybe.. just maybe they can pass the test this November ;-)))

     I would probably also give credit to Harry S. Truman and Richard "I am not a crook" Nixon. JFK handled the Cuban Missile Crisis with flying colours. But I think Ronnie was the one who was the most effective catalyst for the fall of the Soviet Union. It's easy to attribute it to his actions alone, but he had the support of Western European countries and the Vatican. Yeah, the Vatican just can't stay out of politics because God hates commies. 😉
