     @cajax I've bought music cassettes from Japan too and they always throw in little knickknacks and a very thoughtful thank you letter.

     @parker japanese people are cute when they make little crafts for people like that. Like I used to order a lot of plants and seeds from Japan, and they'd always like bedazzle the packing material and the box when you receive it, or put stickers on it etc. I've also ordered self-published art books from artists and they give it the same treatment, only with custom made stickers of their own illustrations-- One time one even folded me a paper crane out of this fancy looking paper! It's always on hobbyist stuff if it's just kitchenware they don't bother it's like... It's like, damn their ganbatte attitude about things they enjoy is heart warming.
