   Maybe I'm imagining it, but I feel like Mastodon has been quiet recently.

   I've got nothing to back these claims up, and I don't really have anything insightful to say other than...where'd everyone go?

   Maybe a lot of my follows just upped and left?

     @danielholt that does happen sometimes, yeah...I'd even say like 30-40% of my follow relationships aren't here anymore.

     At this point, I feel like I can tell who's gonna stick around after a few weeks of seeing their posts.

     It sucks. I'm pretty stubborn about not giving up though. There's not much on other platforms that Fediverse doesn't have. A few mainstream accounts, but that's about it.

     I still continue to get more engagement here than I've ever dreamed of with other platforms.

     @BeAware yeah that bottom point is very true.

     I also don't necessarily feel anxious whenever I see a reply by someone I don't already have a relationship with, which is a big thing for me.

     @danielholt I'm glad you say that, because I love to reply and sometimes we have grown adults throwing temper tantrums when someone simply replies to their public posts.

     It's super weird cause I'm almost never hostile.
