   Anyone have opinions about PoE cameras that can see in the dark and will function fine if I deny them Internet access?

   I'm about to buy some axis cameras otherwise.

     @ryanc Sony used to have some fantastic sensors for proper offline CCTV, but I haven't touched their newer stuff. Can't go wrong with Axis though.

     @ryanc When I worked in PHYSEC, we only used Axis in high risk and high value locations. That was nearly a decade ago so grain of salt, but I agree that they're generally worth it. Just keep them off the damn Internet. 😆
