   @Erpel @vriska @faggotracist1488 @kaia @mangeurdenuage swabians just seem terrified of other people to me. extremely “fuck you, got mine”, but they only act like assholes among each other. they’re like, genuinely weirded out whenever i’m just being my usual friendly self, as if they can’t fathom being treated nicely for once
   
   yesterday at the grocery store i was gonna return some bottles like the german i am. guy in front of one of the machines prints his receipt, doesn’t seem to realize it’s done and he can take it so he’s just standing there waiting for something to happen. 3 people behind him completely silent but visibly annoyed.
   
   so i’m like “excuse me sir, your receipt’s right here, you can take it” so he did. heard one of the guys behind im say something like “good thing women exist” and almost replied “good thing not all of us are swabians”. if he had just left someone else would’ve probably kept his receipt, not (just) because they’re greedy but because they’re mortally afraid of talking to other people

     @mia @vriska @kaia @Erpel @mangeurdenuage 85 cents could cover food for like a few days atleast though, its nothing to scoff at. plus why does it affect you that somebody else smiles? nonsense. although iirc thats a nonsense thing with neurotypicals sometimes? so idk i could just be weird. i think everybody here would just take it though its like when you find a drunks wallet at the bus stop
