@sarajw Thank you! Me, too. It's been very quiet since. The message was ambiguous, very much a spontaneous "hey we're all fine here!" from the school. Which - you know, isn't as helpful to get out of nowhere as I think they imagined it'd be.
Okay, I got an update and it looks like it was district-wide communication for the whole region, based on a school threat a few towns over. I guess the message passed through a few layers and by the time it got to my school district, it was much scarier sounding than they intended. And no one in the school a few towns over is in danger either.
