     @kendricklmao8 well...depends on your definition of "same server". Its not as straight forward as Fediverse in that regard.

     @kendricklmao8 well this is gonna be the easiest question to answer...

     They wanted to make a version of a federated protocol that they can control specifically. It's a corporate profit move.

     They don't want to use anything they can't control.

     @kendricklmao8 no, bridge is the only way. You can try to convince them to use the bridge. Other than that, BlueSky won't be naturally federating with AP. At least not anytime soon.

     @BeAware so there is no easier or better way at the moment than using that bridge? I made a BS account out of curiosity and so many ex Twitter ppl i used to talk to are on there
