I get alerts about weather events in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, and it is unusual to see one event for Hesperia, let alone the two or three I've seen today. (Common in Barstow, Yucaipa, Twentynine Palms, Indio, Palm Desert, Blythe.)
* And its neighbors Victorville, Baldy Mesa, Phelan.-

Stephen Michael Kellat (smkellat@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 12-Sep-2024 03:25:00 JST Stephen Michael Kellat @lnxw37a2 Hesperia is below what NWS is considering a “zone”. For them the lowest level of resolution is “Apple and Lucerne Valleys” which looks like a pretty big reporting area. The FIPS code for Hesperia appears to be 0633434 if you’re wanting to use the API produced by NWS.
