     @RickiTarr @bobjmsn don’t let anyone ever tell you USA (or Canada) doesn’t have the population to support high speed high frequency trans continental rail travel. It’s just a lie perpetrated by the car industry. Keep pushing for it to happen, I believe the transition to clean energy will make it happen!

     I love trains, when the Hyperloop first started getting talked about I was so excited, and so far nothing. The technology for cheap fast travel already exists, we could have already been well on our way to efficient and very fast coast to coast travel in America.

     According to Wikipedia, there's a project to create a 410 m hyperloop in India by 2025.

     410 m mean 1/4 mil !

     Elon Musk has admitted Hyperloop was a B.S. operation to prevent actual high speed train lines from being built in California. And sell more Tesla cars.

     @hgfernan @RickiTarr It…it would probably literally be faster to walk or jog that, when you factor in the time it would take to load, accelerate, decelerate, and unload.
