     @MHS_Jenkins depends what you mean.

     An alternative software? Or alternative phrasing?

     The Fediverse is the whole ActivityPub protocol network, not just mastodon, so there's plenty of other softwares you can use that might be better for you, it's completely subjective.

     The reason for my post is pure satire because most people can't seem to help themselves from conflating the Mastodon software with Fediverse network in its entirety.

     I am attempting reverse psychology so that people might start realizing there's more here than *just* mastodon and if most don't start realizing that, we're just back on Twitter with another asshole in charge.😅

     Hope this makes sense. If you'd like to know about other Fediverse softwares, the only place I can tell you to look for sure, is on the ActivityPub Wikipedia page. However, it's outdated and some software hasn't been updated in a long time and there's software that exists that's not on the list.

     I'll open yours, but I'm not boosting or liking it.🤷♂️

     We have a logo. Changing something for the sake of changing and because one person wants to say that they changed something is very weird energy and I won't be a part of that.

     Also, reminds me of a certain asshole that also likes Unicode symbols for his social media platform.

     I will not be similar to him, even if it's not noticeable to most people.

     If Fediverse and AP becomes as common as email, then....? Email has several emojis to represent it and I don't see why an emoji couldn't be added for Fediverse if we get to that point.

     Yeah, it might never happen and it's not easy, but at least I'm not going around using 3 slightly touching buttholes and calling it the Fediverse logo.🤣🤣🤣

     Oh, my needs are more trivial maybe and just have more to do with brevity when typing mostly—

     Why not have :fediverse: have an unofficial Unicode character substitution or at least something else secondary to the actual one that’s easy to convey though?

     There’s 🧵🦋✴️ for other spaces but AP/fedi has none unless you can do :fediverse: custom emoji which doesn’t show up elsewhere. I was actually using ✨ to represent the fedi but Google co-opted it for AI. So now ⁂ unless there’s a different symbol to represent it…

     …yes I’m pedantic and frivolous and will die on this hill several times I’m sure 😆
