Dan (dko@infosec.exchange)'s status on Monday, 09-Sep-2024 13:40:44 JST Dan @GreenSkyOverMe the mazda rx-8 was a sports car made in the 2000s. it was one of the very few cars that used a wankel rotary engine, which uses a rotor spinning inside a elliptical block instead of cylinders going up and down like a conventional internal combustion engine.
the rotor is a reuleaux triangle and mazda's styling division used it as a motif in the rest of the car's design. including molded into the seatbacks, hood, shift knob, front and rear bumpers, and probably more places i don't remember.
this three layer kitty made me think of it.
