   We have many active, well maintained and well populated Mastodon instances here in Brazil, like the ones on this list: https://mastodon.br-linux.org/instancias/

   And all of them are having traffic and onboarding peaks since Friday, when X was closed here because of its owner’s reckless behavior.

     @ClipHead @mekkaokereke probably because it's not Twitter/X. All we can do is put the option out there and hope people choose the Fediverse. Did anyone try to promote Fediverse options to the Brazilian Twitter/XVerse? Or did we just assume they'd flock here?
