     @sun @N33R Weed would need a mycelium aquarium and on the extremities a nutrient dispenser of sugars/fats linked to a keyboard (which would be done by plants originally via photosynthesis) and we would need a sensor in that same place that could record humidity, so that each time the fungi brings water to those locations the nutrient dispenser would dispense some sugars/fats.

     @sun @N33R In theory we could use a sponge like material in which the hyphae could invade, but it would decompose and become part of the fungi at some point.
