   The only reason I use audible for my audiobooks is because OpenAudible allows me to strip off the DRM and load my audiobooks onto my plex where there can be properly archived

     @GamesPeoplePlay I'm fine with that I'm less fine with stealing from independent novel writers who pretty much have to use corporate distribution to get their work out to a wide enough audience to be able to keep writing novels.

     @Rasp Corporations barely pay indies pennies on the dollar. Hell, Weird Al is one of the most played artists on Spotify, and all the royalties that's got him are barely enough for a coffee a Starbucks (citation, himself, from a Twitter video).

     Find a different way to support Indies, one where the money actually goes to THEM.
