Is there any way for me to automatically filter out posts on Live Feeds by their languages?
I just don't want my feed to get flooded by posts in Asian languages that I can't even read.

@batuhan well...there is, but the way it works is pretty broken.
It only filters posts based on the language that the poster sets when posting it.
Now, if only everyone would set their language correctly....🤦♂️😬
So, yes, but no. Schrodinger's language filter.
If you want to have it work, but not be able to tell much difference, go to Preferences > Other, and it's at the bottom.
I love that there's a language option for Esperanto.

We talked about this before, but there's no easy way to do it on Mastodon (I assume you're talking about Mastodon).
Nobody thinks about clicking on a tiny button you barely see when posting.
Firefish had implemented a great way to do it (it did actually ask me when I didn't seem to be posting in the language that was set)
Is it such a big deal to just ignore a post that's in a language you can't read? There aren't that many people who post in many languages, are there? Just don't follow people who post predominantly in a language you don't know. 🤷♂️
@DavidBHimself @batuhan yeah...it's definitely a design flaw that needs to be revisited.
I doubt it's a priority though. There's lots of little and big issues that needs fixing.😬
